We can lower it and expand it back. Next would be to put in term limits which would give every president an equal number of picks. You can't accomplish anything with a corrupt court. They won't follow the 14th and 15th Amen. They won't follow established law and they make it up as they go along.

This is a coup. Too many refused to prevent it by voting DEM majorities since '16 into House & Senate. So GOP SCOTUS has the majority & is making decisions to please their team. The Constitution gives SCOTUS the right to interpret our laws. "We can lower it & expand it back" No. We can't lower it.

We lost the congressional majority in 22. Before that we could have done more to bring SCOTUS into check just by giving power to the commission Biden set up but ignored.

Look it up. Congress can do anything they want to the size of the court. They have changed the number before. It takes a simple majority. SCOTUS doesn't have the right to violate the Constitution. That should get them impeached. We don't have time.

If we don't make changes to law in 2 years. We'll end up with another authoritarian. SCOTUS will find a reason to undo anything we pass. We must have rule of law judges in the majority. We need voting rights, an end to CU. Environmental law redone, women's healthcare fixed.

Congress cannot DECREASE the number of Justices.

Where are you getting your info? SCOTUS has been 6, 9, 7. There is nothing in the constitution about how many judges to appoint. The number has been increased and decreased before. You really need to check your facts before arguing anything.
