scene: the smoking-lounge at the Drones Club in London
A well-dressed young man meanders in, plops down on a sofa, and sighs mournfully.
“What’s the matter, old bean?” asks another well-dressed young man.
“I’m just feeling tired of spaghetti and tacos.”
(several monocles pop out in surprise)
Growing up i always thought sloppy joes were mid but i like these. my mom uses this recipe, you scoop some on sandwiches and freeze the rest in little bags for low-effort meals in the future. Disclaimer: tacos and spaghetti are still better.
See the premise is that some people are sad about their life and they think changing the type of food they eat will fix that... and then they change the food and get sadder. It's actually a schaudenfreude comedy article, I'm pretty sure.
