1968 - I was 10 and got it with my birthday money when we were in Jamaica. My parents took me to see this show with The Wailers, Maytals and others. I told them I wanted to be a musician and make people dance like that.
I can't believe everyone believes me. You couldnt even find a VU LP where I grew up. Maybe - just maybe - a stray copy of Transformer, but that would be a very lucky find.
