Both @mutariesco.bsky.social and @taitora.bsky.social have had their accounts (temp)suspended recently due to 'the promotion of NSFW content involving real animals', this being TF porn. Given they are being censors by automatic bots, there ain't much you can actually do to fight this-

And I'm not talking "use Mastodon" Mastodon is the opposite of what we really want here, nothing's connected and everything is very seperated. Literally. By design. It's pretty pointless.

I agree and disagree with this. Yes youre right a new place thats connected is needed. But I also like Mastodon because its making your own feed and the separation its not worthless, but we do need a twitter esque site as well

to my understanding, mastodon could be as good as folks might want, it just requires a wider adoption by folks.

Maybe there's something I was missing with Mastodon, but you couldn't cross talk servers at all. You were all in in one niche thing and never interacted with anyone on the outside of that one thing because it's just a single server.

Mastodon can interact with as many instances as the admin wants it to. Some will peer and interact with everything, others will limit to just their instance.

I kinda agree on mastodon being all broken up into chunks/regions and being unable to talk to the whole fediverse But at the same time, it's needed to set up boundries. there are very dark and toxic instances out there Cubhub is actually pretty open to a lot of intances, its a compromise to made
