Epstein would have expected to slip federal justice, just like he did in Florida 10 years before. He had leverage over the rich and the powerful. He’d never go to trial. Surely he expected another sweetheart deal - he had them by the balls. He’s dead. DOJ controls the files. Trump controls DOJ.
