Then there's the stories of how Orson Welles, the upstart 20something kid with no real movie experience, coming in from the radio play and stage production scene and through sheer audacity, and surrounding himself with experienced workers, made Citizen Kane.

It's a different beast & you can tell with some projects that the person hasn't restructured their writing to fit the dimensions of the media. I was reading a comic & it felt like an amazing novel, but I was 4 (of 6) issues into the limited series & they were still developing the cast & setting.
