Our energy transition is taking shape as a record amount of renewable projects come online.  This isn't planned or currently in construction projects, it's real and tangible energy that is up and running right now.  There's more work to do and we're getting on with the job.

What we also need to see is a reduction in fossil fuel use. If this is not happening, then it's not a "transition", it's simply using renewals as additional energy to fuel the growth which is destroying the biosphere and driving further inequality and division.

The ALP needs to get its act together and tax gas. And if it makes some of the extraction of gas unprofitable and the gas companies leave in a huff like they’ve threatened to? G O O D .

Good. Would also be good to see how some schools, warehouses, farms etc are using solar/battery combos now.
