I supported my son for sev years post MSc when he cldn't get a job bc he didn't have 3 years experience. What do employers expect from new graduates? He worked part-time as a lifeguard. He finally got a job during the pandemic. Luckily, I cld afford it but he cldn't move on with his life.

And there you have it. Our government is under the impression that EVERY family with an 18- or 19-year-old undergoing ANY medical issue can AFFORD to financially support an almost adult child.

NO parent that I know of gave birth to a child thinking they'll have to support them when they reach the age where they should be leaving home and working. ESPECIALLY when their own government is making it impossible for their child to either find work OR afford any treatment they need. #Vote
