36kWh battery and 50kW charging 😐 We need 3-4C charging in cheaper cars as well, imo

In 10 years, the only market US domestic car makers will have will be in the US. Their global market will be gone. And they will only have themselves to blame for voting Republican.

BYD would kill the US EV market with better/cheaper products so you will NEVER see them here.

That's cool. But in the US it would be $30k with tariffs. When we get a Dem (or just less-MAGA) admin, it will be very interesting to see whether the China auto tariffs stick around.

It makes me jealous - and somewhat disgusted - to see this technology just taking off and the variety of inexpensive vehicles available around the world. US should be a leader in this but no, we're stuck with monster pickups that mostly drive to the supermarket.
