This is completely wrong, and how the power of a paper's editorial board gets normalized. By choosing what content and whose voices they do and don't platform on their op/ed page, papers shape public perception. That's how fascism has become so normal, and why facts now matter so little.
Jill FilipovicNot including this person's handle because I don't want to start a big pile-on but there is such a deep media literacy problem on the left. "The New York Times" is not "supporting" any of the things linked; individual writers on their *opinion* pages are making the case for these positions.
