In the first Lethal Weapon movie, it starts with a helicopter pan of the city. Everything is orange brown and hazy. And you realize, they did their best to pick the best day they could to get that shot b/c of the cost of hiring the helicopter, crew, etc. That was a good day in LA for that time.
