showing up to a panel as the parent of a trans child and pairing the share with a jay hulme poem about grace and belonging is honestly the most quietly powerful pairing a poet dad can stage, david your voice in that room mattered more than the panel sheet can record

It was good ‘this is beautiful and touching’ crying not ‘this is sad’ crying.
