In Adwords, the A in CPA stands for 'action'. In our case, the action is a click on a leadgen form. 65p is a fair price for a lead in our business. But the problem is our business is on the fringes of recruitment, and in recruitment, the 'A' in CPA also stands for 'application' ...

And £25 is a typical cost for an application that might lead to a 4/5 figure hiring fee. The LLM read a whole bunch of articles on average CPAs in recruitment without applying context or even realising it should check what A stood for. This is why we don't use Gemini. </rant>

It's not just acronyms, the LLMs will fork the meaning of everything then re-merge the fork, all invisibly. This is why the LLM experts/fans break down everything into tiny steps, each with its own further checks to make sure it hasn't strayed from the path of correctness.
