There are many things that makes Trump scary but one is he really doesn’t care about governing or policy. He’s a racist but isn’t as virulent as Musk or Miller. Trump doesn’t care about policy details so he’s fine just turning them loose. Same is true for Vought, a Christian Nationalist zealot.
