I finished fixing up this village today and obtained cherry saplings (plus I bought a jungle sapling from the traveling trader guy!) So now that I'm back at MY village, I have my own arboretum with oak, birch, dark oak, spruce, acacia, and jungle trees to the south; a pale oak forest to the west...

The problem with Minecraft today was that I went exploring; saw Spruce trees in the distance; obtained Spruce saplings, but then saw cherry trees in the distance; walked towards the cherry trees but then happened upon a village with a house ON FIRE?; and then it was 10 hours later

...and cherry trees growing on the north side. (The east side is the hill going down to the ocean lol) My home village also had a birch tree growing in the center next to the bells with benches around it and such. I replaced it with a cherry tree and the place is now 10x prettier

Also, I didn't necessarily want to make my greenhouse with spruce logs and dark oak planks agaaaain, because I've used that combo a lot... but the thing is... it's just SO PRETTY

I also started building the four homes for the greenhouse out of terracotta: red for the beet farm, yellow for wheat, orange for carrot, and white for potato. I'd like the house in the center to be green terracotta, but I'd have to go hunting for cactus...

Theoretically the floors of each house will be the glazed version of their assigned terracotta color; or the outside wall could be; or none of the above if I don't feel like it~
