it's not "i would have had a terrible time at school and been very depressed". it's "i would have killed myself". i wouldn't be recovering from trauma, i would be dead.
jamie ‼️🏳️⚧️i cannot stress this strongly enough. support from my school is WHY i am still alive. support from my school, without being forced to tell my mom, is WHY i am here. if i did not receive the AMAZING support i had, i would be dead. and that is not a euphemism.
