I bet you'd sing a different song if it was you and yours losing rights, instead of other people you've decided aren't important enough to defend this is how you end up standing alone btw, abandoning everyone targeted first

U just described my life experience when the AIDS crisis hit & I watched most Democrats stand by/take part as my civil rights (and human dignity) was being taken away out of panic & laws (such as gay marriage laws states had passed by 1982) were rescinded. I still wasn't abt to vote Republican.
