Palantir was sold to the NHS for £330m on the promise that it would magically reduce hospital stays by 15%. It has been found to have no impact at all. Get Palantir out.

The software is crap so many who have it don't use it. Its a con, they push the image of scary military tech so people think their stuff is incredible it's all lies. Their stuff is poor, but they offer it free for the first contract, then they tie you in with proprietary tools and crank the costs.

Guarantee not a single NHS IT worker agreed with implementing it, and not a single one was consulted either.

The easiest way to reduce hospital stays is simply to kick people out. In my lifetime, (USA) postpartum hospital stays went from 7-10 days to 24 hours, if you're lucky. Just kick 'em to the curb. Hip replacement is basically an outpatient procedure now.

All they do is harvest your sensitive information

There is an argument for a joined up IT system & Palantir *might* have been an answer (if one overlooks it’s inherently nefarious nature.) You say it’s had no impact, but reports say it’s worse than existing systems. Palantir *must* go and our governments *must* avoid it.

Andy Burnham mustn't ignore this problem, it won't go away on its own. Similarly, the deal Starmer made that will cost an absolute fortune for medicines from US.

The problem with the NHS is that it’s run by morons and fifth columnists who enthusiastically bought into this shit lol

£330m for a 15% reduction that never materialized. the NHS didn't buy a solution, they bought a sales pitch wrapped in NDAs. and now the data guardian confirms patient data access was hidden. this isn't incompetence — it's the business model. 🎯

Why the hell would it when... 1. People are in hospital because they are sick. 2. People are stuck in hospital because there is nowhere suitable for them to go.

But AI is the answer to all our problems. AI told us so.

Because in the US when their insurance runs out they turf them out of the bed regardless of the status of their treatment

But all the data is now in the USA and Israel. It's gone I wonder what they are going to do with all the medical records etc of all UK citizens?

There's no "the NHS" there are four in the UK. Only one was stupid enough to sign up to this bollocks. Please be more specific.

Whenever public health turns to private solutions, the public needs to step in and stop it. Whoever is running the public service needs to be fired and criminally investigated. Private is for profit. Any public figure supporting private profit over public interest needs prison time.
