Dan Starkey is playing "The Conductor" in the Big Finish Circuit Breaker audio (seemingly the big bad) and in the last audiobook they mentioned an odd-looking Sontaran that the Doctor thinks should be investigated gee I wonder if the big bad will be a Sontaran who can possibly figure this one out
