ive seen zero mcu films except for spiderman and i thought Brand New Day was Preddy Dang Gud! i think theres a bit of mcu crossover but it didnt feel like it was obtrusive or like its trying to fill in a quota in a bigger game

This is me who fell off MCU hard after endgame and hasn't really been keeping up with it. Didn't love the MCU Spideys. Loved Brand New Day

It’s honestly the best live action Spider-Man movie we’ve gotten since Spider-Man 2. Definitely worth checking out!

100%, endings a little weak but it’s a fun ride other than that

i just watched it. I'd say kinda (?) there are a few important characters that need you to have watched other movies to fully understand, but otherwise it's enjoyable if you don't like the MCU

Very much so. Probably the best "pure" spider-man film since Spider-Man 2. Very self-contained, pretty much explains all you need to know from No Way Home. Sick action, made me cry a bunch of times
