Certainly. But that wasn't my point. It was more that let's not be hyperbolic about Norway's "green cred" as the underpinnings of 2/3 of their economy is based on "drill baby, drill".

No Norway is in the EU. In 2022, EU + Norway signed a deal to gain energy independence and improve EU resilience. It focuses on oil from Norway to EU (& developing cooperation on renewable energy, carbon capture research, and hydrogen). They can't back out because they cleaned up their act at home.

Norway is not in the EU. It's a corrupt, war profiteering petrostate with absolutely no plan whatsoever to stop extracting oil and one of the highest total (including exported) per capita CO2 emissions in the world. Say it loud, say it proud. 🖕🇳🇴
