I am so so SO close to being halfway done with the 62 novels of the Horus Heresy.
Jon49. Dan Abnett, "The Unremembered Empire' -- very good on its own terms but a novel that acts as a nexus point for at least a dozen earlier threads and plot beats and manages to extend them all coherently which makes it logistically rather impressive.
