A lot of of us are huge nature folks. Honestly I often feel I understand critters better than I do people. Anyone who hates nature should be shunned.

I have no argument with that. I started staying home 98% of the time at the beginning of the pandemic and in the years since became very well acquainted with the wildlife in my backyard, especially the squirrels and Jays, but also smaller birds & even rabbits. Plus, visiting cats, crows & others. ❤️

I'm the rankest of amateurs but I've been photographing odonates for more than 20 yrs. I also photograph a ton of birds. & the last 2 summers I've been photographing pollinators. Have you ever seen a damselfly? Smaller cousin to a dragonfly?

OMG! That’s an incredible portrait! I’ve never seen a damselfly, I don’t think so, anyway. What a cutie! 😂 You just inspired me to look into how to set up a habitat for them. Hmmm. 🤔

You don't need anything special re habitat. They're not attracted to certain plants. They eat tiny nuisance bugs. They don't bite or sting. They require water for purposes of dropping eggs, pond, lake, streams etc.
