I’ve been picturing it like a Tales of the Underworld scenario: Ben Solo returning to Rey’s realm, but with the caveat of a timeskip where he’s trust into a time where a new rival faction is undermining the Starfighter crew. So it leads to him helping to fight off the threat while searching for Rey.
