BROWDER: We know for sure that Russia is providing targeting information to Iran, we’ve known this for a long time. Trump administration is falling all over themselves trying to figure out how not to blame Russia for all terrible things that they’re doing.

Russia is adversary and enemy of United States. The fact that Trump administration is contorting itself trying to make that not the case is pretty horrifying. I think most people, including many Republicans, are horrified by that position. There was Economist/YouGov poll conducted last week.

The poll shows that majority of Americans in all political parties support military aid for Ukraine, support Ukraine, and think Putin is a very bad guy.

So it’s not in public or American national interest to be sort of mollycoddling Russia, but that’s what Trump is doing, and people working for him are doing so on his instruction.
