It's not a security threat to announce to the world you're already out of money and munitions after two weeks of sucker punching a tiny country like Iran? If you really ARE worried about China or Russia or North Korea it seems strategically stupid to tell everyone you can be beat this easily.

You’re not wrong, but this *specific* issue is due to the ATACMS being out of production for 20 years and its replacement, PrSM production only ramping up in the last 1-2 years. ATACMS was also donated to Ukraine as PrSMs were delivered.

But we are VERY poorly equipped to immediately increase output or quickly replace a lot of our weapons. Most lines are operating at bare minimum output.
