Beam said it well - The lift of the book needs to hit to justify conversion work. The Gardens of Ynn and Stygian Library both do it well imo. Otherwise, I'm much more apt to just taking something well written for a system and hack it into another similar one (ex Cairn to Perils and Princesses)
