Counterpoint; I get from point a to point b using a fraction of the gas, road space, and road wear of an average car that weighs 10x as much, and I actually enjoy my otherwise soul-sucking commute. I wouldn't recommend it on a rational level, but I have pretty strong feelings about banning them
