Currently listening to The Bee Sting by Paul Murray and rather enjoying it, but the new narrator for part 4 pronounces 'mischievous' as 'mis-cheevie-uss' and 'grievous' as 'greevie-uss'. I don't like to be a pedant (this is a lie) but pronouncing things is kind of this guy's job.
AkruI really enjoy listening to audiobooks but it's constantly surprising to me when the actors mispronounce things or just plain say the wrong word. In 'Ministry for the Future' there are so many errors that leave me thinking about production values instead of, you know, the book.
