Is there a way to do this as a setting to have it off by default? I don't want to have to go through every VOD I have and manually turn it off for my whole channel.

Yes go into Advanced under Settings for your channel. You have to scroll down to see it.

I genuienly hate that I can't just toggle it off on all my videos with 1 button press, I shouldn't have to do this for 115 videos. What about bigger channels with thousands, that's gonna take over an hour on my small scale ugh
