ssri/s never worked for me. bupropion, dopamine reuptake, usually works eventually.

Shitty Life Syndrome is a very real thing. You aren't depressed because of a hormone imbalance. You're depressed because your life sucks.

SNRIs tend to work better for me swapped about every 4-5 years. Idk about other classes.

I just don't think Zoloft can go on the mission alone these days. It always worked for me but it just can't keep up anymore.

zoloft is fine when things are basically ok but your brain has convinced itself they're not. when the world is falling apart for real, that's a bit much for zoloft to handle, it's just one little pill (or two if you're on a higher dose like me).

my fancy new fangled non-SSRI (trintellix) tries very hard but it was introduced during the Obama years, it ain’t up to all this either 😔

Well the basic issue is that these meds were not designed for a Nazi takeover of the world, but for problems with your brain they could make you pay for. Existential suffering from hunger, fear, and the like are not really able to be medicated away. Check the amount of gin that used to be sold.

I max out after about 5 years or so on every med. Sucks. Altho, the meds do get better. I need a really good psych. Oddly, west coast psychs are the best. 🤷‍♀️

Pretty sure that SSRIS/NRIS were all we had through the first two housing bubble bursts and mortgage crises in my old lifetime. No matter what generation we are in, right now sucks.

Anxiety and depression are painful and as symptoms, they should be ameliorated by medication. But, it does in a way seem like giving stimulants and pain killers to athletes so they can finish the season. Being medically "well-adjusted" to function in an insane world should be malpractice.

Well, in the ruined blue cities in red and blue states they are forcing people out of home ownership by design. Own nothing and be happy. Out here folks can afford a home, taxes are low, no murders or shootings, schools are normal and people are happy. Just 20 minutes from a deep blue sesspool.
