I completely agree! (As I sit here chocking on the smoke from a nearby forest fire!) Vehicle safety has improved dramatically as well. My grandparents use to let me and my sister play in the back of the station wagon, completely unrestrained. If grandpa was driving, we sat in the bed of the truck.
