When folks say “abolish ICE” I feel like this language lends legitimacy. Try it with “abolish slave patrols” or “abolish the Gestapo.” Sounds reductive and not quite capturing the spirit of the severity of these groups even existing. One doesn’t abolish the skinhead club. Dunno…
