Pretty amusing that no one, whether it's CNN or ABC or NBC or CBS or Fox or OANN or Newsmax or NY Times or Washington Post, follows up on this story and asks Scott Jennings more information about the call to verify it because everyone believes he's a bold face liar.

If you are on a news network- the point is putting out accurate news. If you platform people spreading inaccurate information that is worse than no information at all.

No, if you were honest, you'd point out that by putting him on air, they ARE backing him, and have done so for ever.

This is interesting. My pet obsession is wondering what happens if it turns out Mitch was dead this whole time and the people who said they talked to him have to try and wiggle out of what they said.

CNN is being wildly dishonest. They pay him a significant salary to lie 5 nights a week on the Gaslighting Tonight show, hosted by Abby Phillip. Whether he is technically an "employee" or not, is irrelevant.

They’re walking a middle line here and it’s remarkable how little courage and journalistic integrity CNN is displaying. At the very least, one CNN “journalist” should question Jennings on his claims to have spoken to McConnell. CNN deserves no credit for not backing Jennings. They’re cowards!
