SUCH a good time! Played through the first day of it with my kid, who looks a LOT like Boku, so he loved that. Too cute!

So the one on Steam is Natsu-Mon, which is a new (well 2023) spiritual succesor/sequel, also by creator Kaz Ayabe. It's brilliant!! Boku 1 was on PSX and Boku 2 (this one) on PS2. They're all standalone games with similar gameplay, and all excellent!

Yeah they're a really lovely experience! Natsu-Mon plays a little more modern (ie no tank controls) and obviously you don't have to mod in an English translation, so that's a quick option to see if you dig the style. But Boku 2 remains my personal favourite - it's wonderful!

Should add, Boku 1 and 2 were never released in English, but there's an excellent Boku 2 patch by @hilltopworks.bsky.social Natsu-Mon was released in English so you can play the Steam version fresh out the box! All are FANTASTIC.

Huuuuuge same! Just incredible. Did you get a go at the recent Kowloon's Gate patch? That is a WILD game! Kind of murky and impenetrable, but in the best way.

I've got a huge backlog of games right now. I've actually been trying to slow things down so I can leisurely play games for fun instead for work. It's a delicate balancing act and I haven't quite figured out the right balance. I am hoping to check out Kowloon's Gate by November 😅
