They have a much broader communication range than my local Montana Magpies. Perhaps I need to talk to them more?

In Australia you have to watch these guys, they’ll take your eyes. When my kids were younger, they wore hats walking to school that had eyes on the back of the hat to confuse the magpies.

At very first I thought they’d bust out into Turkey In The Straw. Which is now struck in my head goddammit. Tell the magpies I said hi and I’ve been a fan of their work in Hechle and Jechle for over 50 years
