Green Oropendola 37-43 cm Amazon basin of northern South America eats insects and fruit Breed in colonies up to 30 pairs. Only Females weave long, bag- or pouch-shaped basket nests out of plant fibres, vines, and leaves in tall trees. Female lays 2 eggs, and incubates and raises her young ALONE!
