I tried smushing my garlic by slamming a knife down on it like Martin Yan and I'd say I had a 90% success rate; the 10% that didn't work shot out across the kitchen, but I think if I had hit them harder they would have worked too. Anyway thank you $30 internet knife that I don't care about breaking.
