Just did this (720p, no AA) with 2009's COD: MW2 and I've reached a new level of purism, fuck me. You can just tell that everything blends accordingly (shadows, bloom, textures, etc.) with the original intended resolution. Not to say it looks "better", it's just... right? It just woow- works

I've been playing the first two Batman Arkhams at 720p. There's a special magic when asset fidelity matches screen resolution that I value more than raw pixel count. It's worth the aliasing, I don't mind it. Plus it's such a light load on my PC that it doesn't even need to ever step up the cooling.
