If it's unanimous, then a veto will inevitably be overriden. There is no point in "making them" vote twice for the same thing, there are better ways to spend their time.

There is totally a point. Have the courage to not ruin the economic engine of your state. Pritzker has zero courage. All he stands for is getting through the prez primary with "did you know TRUMP IS BAD???"

It takes no courage to issue a useless veto and then shrug, "Welp, I tried". Blame your state representatives, who actually could have made a difference.
