Reminder: The 2008 primary. Democratic establishment said to pick Hillary Clinton...or else. The people chose Barack Obama. It was ugly, nasty, and vicious. Obama won. What happened? He crushed McCain, turned around and asked Clinton to be his Sec of State, and then beat Romney as well.
