Every single member of that team has contributed SO much to the behemoth that is the MCU. Every character, environment, monster, prop, you ever saw on screen, from Rocket Racoon to the Avengers, was first made by someone at that Visual Development team! An immense loss to the industry.

I like to say, one company's loss is another's gain. That's assuming there's someone out there who recognizes these people's real worth and hires them on with the same or better benefits.

This is pretty much the end of the MCU as far as anyone with actual taste is concerned. Firing all the talent that made it the success it was, only to create a deluge of AI-generated slop in its place, is an easy way to plunge Disney into a new dark age worse than the ‘70s/early ‘80s.
