I love me some Italian. So I suggested to my friend Lesley ( writer AND classic film fan visiting for a few days from North Carolina ) we go to MONTE’S down in the Village. On an early Thursday afternoon we had the place to ourselves to talk ( though a tour group did come through ). 1 /
