If Dem candidates in 2028 actually campaign on "retribution" (I'll believe it when I see that), some algorithms might get tweaked in a favorable way. Too risky from a business angle not to. Tech companies doing nothing would risk a D president+congress coming after them in 2029 with no safety net.
