I just watched one video on a certain indie cartoon drama (not naming it) and then got recommended a bunch of videos from other YTbers saying how the thing will fail. I'm left here kinda miffed how this is perpetuating a cycle of giving notoriety to one project over more deserving indie pitches.

I think the hate is undeserved since I feel as though that show has potential and i need more episode comedies, but it was meant to be a Screwball Squirrel homage as well as sort of a "Genesis Does" type deal where they mocked the competition while making them seem better, just friendly rivalry

Ohh, as for Gameoverse, I liked it, not perfect but it's got style. Plan to do some prints of other Indie cartoons I recently watched.

You know, you'd think these guys who are very aggravated over these indie cartoons getting all the attention, and getting in the way of "more deserving" projects would promote those projects more instead of complaining about the one they hate all the time.

the logic is that Gameoverse has a lot of big names backing it, and therefore, it has a prebuilt fanbase that would allow it to out perform shows made by people without that following. its just complaining that a popular thing is popular and create drama around that feeling.
