maybe I should relearn video editing and make a long ass video about jewel quest (mostly the game design) (basically what acerola did for tetris, except maybe not as interesting because it's a match-3 game barely anyone knows about)

doesn't stop me to try my best to make it interesting jewel quest, being a swapping match-3 still has a lot of "order within chaos" and you can make many setups plus, spoiler alert, empty spaces are the most unique and the most influential mechanic in the entire series and not much is close

also by "relearn video editing" I mean learning kdenlive (I'm.not trying to run vegas pro on linux)

how do i learn to use kdenlive? ive only used it a bit and it seemed a bit esoteric

honestly yeah, a bunch of video editors really feel esoteric at first; the only way is to familiarise yourself with the editor by editing small bits when I learned vegas pro I started by making shitposts and by looking a bunch of shit up and hoping I find what I needed

right now, for kdenlive I wanna learn the interface, shortcuts and see how to do the usual stuff (transitions, effects, chroma key, text, moving images and text on the screen, cropping and trimming, audio, etc.) I also wanna start making shitposts again lol
