first time i heard kavinsky was in 2007 when he opened for daft punk. it was a duo DJ set with sebastiAn. i remember hearing Grand Canyon on that kinda setup and feeling like i'd heard something for the future. had that EP on repeat for weeks after what a loss. guy who helped define a sound forever
