I would have loved this as a kid. As an adult, teaching in Japan, I learned that every Japanese elementary school child learned TWO musical instruments - donated by Yamaha, at least in the elementary school I observed.

Maybe a hot take, I am not sure arts funding should go to schools, where arts should already be in the school budget?

The music program in our school has been wonderful. Great teachers and concerts. Our student loves it. 💙
