Someone is FINALLY picking the Banjo and Kazooie Nuts and Bolts torch to carry it store.steampowered.com/app/387990/S... Only took like, two decades, but sure! Also the primary reference was TotK but come on the aesthetic is a dead ringer, so Surely. Surely.

I wonder what manner of malicious compliance Scrap Mechanic can let you get away with - the tricks people learned with Nuts & Bolts' rules were just plain cheeky. That long jump challenge where you fly as far as you can? Counts distance in ANY direction. So if your glider were, say, a pinball...

There are a couple kinds of suspension glitch, one lets you just spin in place by rotating the entire creation by just turning one bearing. the other is a stabilizer.

No single phrase has garnered more immediate interests for a game than this. I was loosely aware of scrap mechanic but mostly for a kind of wishy-washy game play from years ago

Wait, WTF, sorry this has been in dev hell since 2016 or something I guess? But recently hit 1.0? Anyways HELL YEAH

yup, I was gonna say that TOTK took notes from Scrap Mechanic, but I see you already found out that Scrap came first technically.

Yeah they went quiet for a long time but I've been very eager for this game's full release. It's building system is great!

I tried SM a couple of times but had no idea what I was supposed to do. Hopefully it's gotten better!

The main story actually exists now beyond just getting you to the mechanic workshop.

This is one of those games I bought years ago, played the hell out of, and then forgot about due to development drought. I'm getting back into it now and it's a trip trying to relearn how to play it.
