I think I did it! The legendary "big modification to the internals of the game's architecture" that affected over 90 files and I got it right on first try with no errors! (tho imma play through the entire game just to make sure)

To clarify, when I make a change like this, I remove or change the type of a load bearing variable, then let the compiler errors guide me to what I have to rewrite. That doesn't count though as it's my intended process. When I made all the changes, it worked first try.
